This is where we use a little reality to add legitimacy to
our story. We have an explanation of what seems to be some advanced thought or
at least a deeper level understanding of Hinduism than the un-initiate would
normally know.
We talk about Shiv and Vish, and how it is opposing forces
that seem to be in harmony.
We discuss the number 108 and its significance. I can’t tell
if this is a rip-off of Jewish mysticism or if it really is Hinduism. Its
pretty interesting non-the-less.
A fascinating discussion about Muslim, Jewish, and Christian
belief perhaps being based in Hinduism. A very compelling story.
Something about the description of Taarak choosing to fire
his pistol into the air rather than answer the questions being posed by the
police inspector, that made me ponder this portion of the book.
Adding an example of garden worms and their ability to
survive with prolonged exposure to cold temperature and lack of oxygen to the brain that adds an
edge to the Radhika passing out thing. We get a better look how Sani thinks and
how he makes correlations. Also, I felt the and loss that Sani must have been
experiencing at that moment. He longed for a woman in his life and had suffered
so much loss now after finding her, she was killed too? Luckily, because of his
correlations, he bothers to try to keep her alive.
